Survival, we are showing how to create a Swiss Oven! The Swiss Oven
is perfect for making food, purifying water, or a great method to
make fire. The Swiss Oven is created by splitting a log into 1/4th
pieces. In the video we show that this can be done easily using a
hatchet! Once you have the four pieces, simply line them up in a
circular pattern with equal distance between them all. Then pack
your lighting material into the bottom of the Swiss Oven. Start the
fire, and watch the Swiss Oven give off immense amounts of heat.
Then simply put your mess kit on top of the Swiss Oven to purify
water, or cook food. The Swiss Oven is also a great way to maintain
a fire. Using the Swiss Oven method has many benefits. 1) The wind
is kept at bay, but the design allows the fire to breath. 2) The
inside of the Swiss Oven gets extremely hot, making cooking very
easy. 3) It is very easy to create. All you really needs is a
hatchet and level surface. 4) The Swiss Oven is almost impossible to
put out unless smothered. It is so hot, just simply add fuel and it
will continue to burn, even in tough, windy conditions. Creating a
Swiss Oven could potentially keep you alive in a windy survival
